The daughter of a former Mecklenburg County District Court judge was awarded more than $270,000 after she brought suit against her father over the management of her trust account. She prevailed on two issues of first impression when the North Carolina Court of Appeals ordered her father to pay both interest on the removed funds and attorney’s fees under the Uniform Transfer to Minors Act.Login required
