This May evening dinner and awards reception was created to spotlight the greater Charlotte area’s 50 most influential women in business, government, education and the non-profit fields. The event has honored women from various organizations and industries, is highly regarded, and well attended.
The Business & Law Breakfast forum is a panel discussion and open forum that seeks to allow individuals within the business and legal fields to connect and discuss topics important to their career. Leading In-House Counsel attorneys serve as panelists, and many members of the legal industry are in attendance to participate. Dates and locations for these breakfasts vary.
Created to recognize those within the legal community in North Carolina who are working to better the legal profession through mentoring and involvement within their community as well as going above and beyond in their everyday job. We honor a number of top attorneys across the state at a luncheon during September.
This March evening event highlights attorneys in South Carolina who have been recognized as leaders in their field, for their efforts in bettering their profession and their communities. They are also lauded for their career achievements, and their success in their everyday work.
Anticipated to become a yearly event, the forum will include a panel of community leaders and developers who will discuss their vision for how we should build on the present; how we will live and work; what we want to become; and who will take us there. The inaugural event’s focus will be “Building a Vision,” and will include the results of The Mecklenburg Times and American Institute of Architects’ architectural challenge, “Reframing Charlotte,” in which area architects were asked to create and submit plans for a modern “Charlotte-style” house.
