Wang v. UNC School of Medicine Even though, as a temporary university research employee, petitioner was exempt from most of the provisions of the State Personnel Act, she was covered by the Whistleblower Act. We affirm the superior court’s determination that petitioner was covered by the Whistleblower Act but otherwise reverse.
