WILSON (AP) — Police in Wilson are looking for a man accused of taking 18 large trash bins from his employer and selling them for scrap.

The Wilson Times reported reported a man who was an employee of Priority Waste Inc. is suspected of taking the large containers.

The company had fired the man last month for unrelated reasons.

Byrum Watson says he saw one of his company’s orange containers at a Rocky Mount used car and salvage business and went in and asked about how they obtained it. Watson said he saw several of his other bins at the business. That business had records of who sold the bins and will not face charges.

Priority Waste said the bins were taken between December and February. They are valued at $4,200 each.
