FUQUAY-VARINA (AP) — Police in Fuquay-Varina have arrested and man and charged him with shooting and killing his girlfriend in their apartment.
Police told local media outlets that 21-year-old Logan Connail McLean is charged with murder and possession of a gun by a felon in the shooting Thursday night.
Twenty-two-year-old Britny Jordan Puryear was dead in their apartment when police arrived.
McLean is being held in the Wake County jail. It was not clear if he has an attorney.
