Bob Webb Jr. retired Dec. 31 as chairman of Atlanta-basedTroutman Sanders LLP. He held that position since 2006, after having served as managing partner for 18 years. North Carolina native Steve Lewis, managing partner since 2011, will assume leadership and strategic responsibilities for the firm. During Webb’s tenure as the firm’s managing partner and chairman, Troutman Sanders grew from 165 lawyers in one office to an international law firm with more than 650 lawyers and 16 offices located in the Southeast, New York, Chicago, Oregon, California, the Washington, D.C., area, Hong Kong and China.
Erin Comerford, a former prosecutor, has joined the law firm of Comerford & Britt in Winston-Salem.
