The North Carolina Biotechnology Center will host a seminar on global patent strategy May 10. The event will start at 4:30 p.m. with a networking hour and last until 7 p.m. at 15 T.W. Alexander Drive, Research Triangle Park. The center is co-hosting the event with law firm Finnegan.
The seminar is titled “Planning Ahead for a Global Patent Strategy” and will focus on planning cost-effective patent applications for both the U.S. and Europe; the differences between U.S. and European patent protection; ownership, licensing and transactions in Europe; and other topics.
The deadline to register for the event is May 6.
