Holding: We improvidently allowed discretionary review of our Court of Appeals’ decision (The petitioner-dentist did not violate a published rule when she failed to record a reason for prescribing narcotics to her patients. Nevertheless, her own testimony and that of respondent’s experts established that her recordkeeping failure constituted negligence within the meaning of G.S. § 90-41(1)(12).).
