Background: On Oct. 19, 2018, Flint was found guilty by a jury in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California of entering an airport area in violation of security requirements, which is a felony. Flint had entered a secured area of an airport carrying a pouch containing approximately $148,145 that had not been screened by TSA, falsely claiming that it was a diplomatic courier pouch and presenting documents purporting to support Flint’s false claims of diplomatic status. On Sept. 16, Flint was sentenced to 14 months incarceration in the Bureau of Prisons.
