Background: Beeker was retained to serve as the closing attorney in various real estate transactions. In multiple cases, Beeker failed to take actions necessary to disburse funds held in trust on behalf of clients or send those clients individual accountings of funds held in trust. Beeker also failed to reconcile her trust accounts as required. After several years in which Beeker did not deposit or disburse funds from multiple trust accounts, the banks escheated the funds, which included entrusted funds belonging to clients.
