as frivolous and imposed sanctions against him under N.C. R. Civ. P. 11. In order for this order to be immediately reviewable based on the possibility of inconsistent verdicts, the trial court, when considering defendants’ counterclaims after dismissing the complaint as frivolous, would have to conclude that the complaint is actually meritorious. Plaintiff has failed to show that the trial court’s order deprives him of a substantial right which would be jeopardized absent a review prior to a final determination on the merits.

Appeal dismissed.
