He has something of a soft spot for the little guys, and he intends to help them succeed. While at the helm of the NCBA, Wells said he will urge small-firm lawyers who have document-driven practices to expand their areas of expertise so they can remain competitive at a time when online legal service providers are increasingly encroaching on their territory.
