Federal court rejects voter ID law

A federal court on Thursday rejected a Texas law that would require voters to present photo IDs to election officials before being allowed to cast ballots in November. The decision came just days after North Carolina House Speaker Thom Tillis declared that voter ID will be required in the state if Pat McCrory is elected governor.
