Background: In March 2012, Summers agreed to represent a client in a divorce case. The client wanted the husband removed from the marital home. Summers filed a divorce from bed and board and an equitable distribution complaint, but more than three years after being retained still had not sought the husband’s removal from the marital home or scheduled a hearing to request that his client receive sole possession of the home as she had requested.
