Federal judge blocks some NC abortion pill restrictions

A federal judge blocked some North Carolina restrictions on abortion pills, citing conflict with the authority of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, while allowing other state laws covering the medicines to remain in effect.

Judge rules some NC abortion pill restrictions unlawful

Some North Carolina restrictions on dispensing abortion pills are unlawful because they frustrate the goal of Congress to use federal regulators to ensure the drug is distributed safely, a judge ruled Tuesday.
