Attorney: Darren Haley

Location: Greenville, South Carolina

Bar membership: Licensed in South Carolina and Virginia, but not licensed in North Carolina

Disciplinary action: Reprimanded on May 14

Background: Haley applied for pro hac vice admission for a case in Mecklenburg County. In his motion, Haley said he had no disciplinary actions on his record aside from a discipline in 2002. In fact, Haley had been suspended from the practice of law in South Carolina for 30 days in 2005, and reciprocal discipline had been imposed in Virginia in 2006. The reprimand notes that Haley again omitted the 2006 suspension in a motion to appear pro hac vice in federal court in New York in 2017.

Previous discipline: None listed
