SUMMARY
Gov. Josh Stein has filled two vacancies on the District Court bench and a third position among the state’s district attorneys.
Appointed to the bench were Caroline F. Quinn in the 8th Judicial District and Andrew T. Warren in 34th Judicial District, a release from the governor’s office says.

Quinn was serving as her district’s clerk of Superior Court and earlier practiced as an assistant district attorney in the 8th Prosecutorial District. She fills the vacancy left when Judge William “Bill” Farris retired.
Her district covers Nash, Edgecombe and Wilson counties.
Warren was practicing as an associate with the Crumpton Law Firm in North Wilkesboro, the release says. He fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge William Brooks.
His district serves Alleghany, Ashe, Wilkes and Yadkin counties.
Stein also appointed Jason T. Waller as district attorney in the 13th Prosecutorial District, which serves Johnston County. Waller fills the vacancy created with District Attorney Susan Doyle’s retirement.
