North Carolina Advocates for Justice will again hold its 2024 Oct. 3-5 at the in .

This marks the return of Mountain Magic after a six-year break, the group’s website says.

“This year marks the revival of a cherished tradition, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with our members, colleagues and friends,” the web announcement says.

In addition to the training, Mountain Magic offers participants seven hours of .

The featured speakers for the event are:

  • Brian Carter — CEO of The Brian Carter Group.
  • Andrew Gardner — Founding attorney at A.K. Gardner Law.
  • Edwin Hong — Attorney at The Simon Law Group.
  • Sach Oliver — Trial attorney and CEO at The Oliver Law Firm.
  • Sonya Pfeiffer — Founding partner at Pfeiffer Rudolf.
  • David Rudolf — Founding partner at Pfeiffer Rudolf.
  • Robert Simon — Co-founder at Justice HQ and The Simon Law Group.
  • Paul Unger — Founding partner at Affinity Consulting Group.

The program begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, with an opening reception and dinner. Other events include the Friday, Oct. 4, program by Gardner, Oliver, Hong, Simon on “Topics in ” and luncheon keynote address by Carter and the Saturday, Oct. 5, program by Pfeiffer, Rudolf and Unger on “ and Taming .”

Registration is limited to 150 guests. The fees are:

  • members: $525 for lawyer members, $275 for public service members, $225 for paralegal members and $75 for law students.
  • Others: $600 for nonmember lawyers and $275 for nonmember paralegals.

Cancellation requests received by Sept. 19 will be refunded less a $75 service fee; no refunds will be given after that date.
