Mark Nebrig went to law school solely to become a trial lawyer, and after 25 years in practice, he still loves it as much as ever.

“My passion for commercial and consumer defense litigation has been fueled by the opportunity to see and learn the details of each corporate client’s business,” he says. “That keeps the job fresh and fun after all these years.”

Nebrig has substantial bench and jury trial experience in mergers and acquisitions litigation and shareholder disputes, as well as ESOP-related disputes, where he has represented fiduciaries, ESOP-owned companies, selling shareholders, and valuation firms.

“I enjoy helping folks solve problems, whether they are case-specific or internal to my team and firm, and I am good at it,” he says. “Enjoying what you are good at is a solid secret sauce.”

Outside of work, he sits on the board of the Epiphany School of Charlotte.
