Patti West Ramseur Partner Ramseur Maultsby, Greensboro

Patti Ramseur has practiced employment law for 26 years, focusing on litigation, arbitration and providing practical legal guidance to employers.

At Ramseur Maultsby, she also conducts employment law seminars with legal and HR groups. Her practice emphasizes helping employers manage and reduce potential legal risks while representing clients who work diligently to do right by their employees and businesses.

Her litigation experience includes defending clients in federal court against alleged violations under the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family Medical Leave Act. She also handled a 2½-week trial in state court defending against claims of intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress for alleged sexual harassment. These early career experiences provided an invaluable foundation for her practice.

Beyond client representation, Ramseur has demonstrated significant leadership within the legal profession. She served as president of the North Carolina Bar Association and North Carolina Bar Foundation for 2023-24. Her earlier positions included chairing the Young Lawyers Division.
