Chuck Anderson is a partner at Ellis & Winters in Raleigh, with 39 years of practice. He represents lenders and borrowers in commercial lending transactions and represents banks, insurance companies, financial institutions and developers in loan transactions secured by commercial real estate. Anderson represents local, national and regional institutions with real estate development and has experience with hotels, office projects, retail centers and affordable housing developments. He represents secured and unsecured creditors, landlords and contract parties in significant bankruptcy cases and represents secured lenders in loan workouts, restructure transactions, forbearance agreements and recovery of real estate collateral by foreclosure. Anderson has been recognized by Chambers USA for Real Estate and Bankruptcy/Restructuring and Real Estate Finance. He noted that as one of the founding Ellis & Winters partners, he is committed to responsive, detail-oriented service and prides himself on a clients-first approach. Anderson heads the firm’s Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Group and serves on the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Board of Advisors.
