Sabrina Rockoff credits her leadership roles at McGuire Wood & Bissette and in a variety of local and state organizations with helping her understand the needs and issues impacting employers across western North Carolina.

Among her many professional and civic roles, she has chaired the board of the Economic Development Coalition for Asheville-Buncombe County and is a past chair of the N.C. Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Section.

As managing shareholder at her firm, Rockoff enjoys helping her clients solve complex problems. “Employment law is fascinating because it concerns how we relate to one another as human beings,” she says. “It requires not only an understanding of the law, but constant consideration of human nature and motivations.”

Rockoff practiced for 10 years with large international law firms before returning to Asheville in 2012.

“The greatest rewards from my practice are helping employers successfully navigate a successful culture and business,” she says.
