“I represented an Amish family of contractors in an accident case,” she says. “Learning about their life and work ethic was fascinating and something I’ll always remember.”

Harrington has made it her goal to build a reputation for being reasonable, professional and fair when it comes to seeing solutions to clients’ problems.

“In any construction litigation, there are passionate opinions from all parties — those representing their life’s work and those dealing with their most significant purchase,” she says. “Taking that into consideration is necessary when litigating or resolving these issues successfully.”

Harrington says her career aspirations and her relatives steered her toward construction law, Economic factors and residential growth have kept her there.

“In New Hanover and Brunswick counties, where I practice, the growth is incredible, and I feel both challenged and inspired to guide my clients through these matters,” she says.
