Fourscore Business Law is a firm focused on mergers and acquisitions, venture financing and outside general counsel services founded in 2017 in Charlotte. The firm is led by Jesse Jones, president, and has five attorneys.

Jones said he started Fourscore Business Law to serve entrepreneurs with the kind of understanding and humility he learned from his father and grandfathers, who were all business owners. He explained he wanted to build a firm that combines sophisticated, strategic legal counsel with genuine partnership and helps entrepreneurs and business owners grow, protect and lead their businesses with confidence, clarity and purpose.

The firm has evolved from a small startup-focused practice into a dynamic firm serving a broad range of growing companies. The team has expanded and adapted, the client base has deepened and the firm has embraced a hybrid office culture that balances flexibility with connection.

Fourscore is committed to serving the community through a pro bono program and a micro-match giving program that doubles employee donations. The firm conducts an annual service project partnering with organizations including Habitat for Humanity.
