As chair of the Real Estate Department at Ragsdale Liggett’s Raleigh office, Bob Ramseur combines vision with passion, inspiration, practical know-how and patience. He is making a positive and lasting impact on the legal profession, the real estate industry and his community.

Ramseur chairs the firm’s residential and commercial real estate group and has represented clients for more than 28 years. Among his notable achievements was serving as lead counsel to close the purchase of the historic Heck-Andrews house in Raleigh, part of the state’s “Project Phoenix,” an initiative to return underutilized state properties to productive use.

He earned his law degree from Wake Forest University in 1995 and enjoys the variety real estate law brings. A natural problem solver, Ramseur enjoys using his energy to find creative ways to help clients facing adversity.

“Many of my colleagues focus on identifying problems to protect their clients,” he says. “However, rather than hearing me advise them why they should not do something, my clients appreciate it when I find a way that they can do it.”
