Across David Sherlin’s 20-year career, he has drawn inspiration from people who are resilient in the face of adversity. Early in his career, he was a prosecutor and worked with crime victims who demonstrated strength in their pursuit of justice.

“These individuals and their stories of resolve inspired me and led me to the field of personal injury work after leaving the district attorney’s office,” Sherlin says.

Today, he is a partner at Epstein Sherlin. He believes empathy and resolve are keys to success as a personal injury lawyer.

Last year, his firm obtained a $5.5 million recovery for a family whose parent died in

a tragic motor vehicle accident. It was the type of outcome that motivates him.

“Our clients’ lives often change in the blink of an eye, and all they ask is that the legal system do something to right the wrong committed against them,” he says. “Those clients and their stories continue to inspire me as an attorney.”
